Thank you Dy and Jen for a lovely run this morning. The pace was relaxed, except for a short sprint-session that last 200 or so meters up Riverside Road towards the M3 - Dy and I decided to add a bit of speedwork into our run, while Jen was happy just to keep up a good pace all the way. We were all a little tender still from Tuesday's long and hilly run (and bootcamp for some on top of that - well done!) but enjoyed this morning's leg-stretch.
The weather played along beautifully too - rain overnight left the air clean and crisp, but the only 'rain' we had during our run was droplets falling from the trees.
Tomorrow morning promises to be very similar - is anyone keen to join me for a 5K at 6am tomorrow morning? The route will be our regular 5K route - flat and easy, with the biggest 'hills' being the 2 railway bridges we cross (Belmont and Campground).
Who is doing the Grape Run this Sunday?

Dean Street Hillbillies
Well done, Guys!!
ReplyDeletesorry, my work schedule has not permitted me to join you of late, but when I get a gap I will be sure to come and try to keep up:)
Good luck to those doing the Grape Run!
For those who won't be doing it and feel like a long run on Saturday, we are doing a 25km, starting and ending at Boulders. We will follow the Peninsula Half route along the main road to Fishhoek, right at the circle on to Kommetjie road, left onto the Glencairn Expressway (Black Hill) and back along main road into Simonstown. Start time is about 0630. Do drop me a line if you are keen.
Regards,
Josh
